Bruno W. Katz
Mr. Katz has a diverse business litigation practice. His practice includes professional liability, employment, real estate, corporate litigation and complex, multi-party litigation. In his defense of clients, Mr. Katz has tried or arbitrated cases involving violations of Title VII; race, age or gender discrimination; violations found by the EEOC; and the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH). Mr. Katz also advises and lectures to insurance brokers and agents on employment practices, liability issues and other risk management matters.
Mr. Katz has successfully defended trials in the California State Superior Court and the various United States District Courts in California, as well as conducted arbitration and administrative hearings for his professional clients. He also provides risk management seminars to his clients and industry groups.
His clients include insurance brokers and agents, real estate agents, utility companies, attorneys, transportation companies, and pharmaceutical/home healthcare companies.
Mr. Katz is fluent in French. He is an active member of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Business Roundtable Forum.

MILITARY SERVICE
Mr. Katz served four years in the U.S. Navy as a member of the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. He is currently an active member of the U.S. Naval Reserve and has been awarded the Navy Commendation Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal three times for superior performance of duty.
On June 12, 2003, Mr. Katz was promoted to the rank of Commander.
