John R. Hunt

During his years of practice, Mr. Hunt has represented clients in labor, employment, tort, and commercial litigation in over 25 jurisdictions. This has included cases in federal as well as state court, both at trial and on appeal.

Mr. Hunt began his career as a law clerk to Judge Albert V. Bryan of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He then began his practice as an attorney with a major "AMLAW 500" law firm, followed by extensive experience in commercial and labor litigation. He has successfully represented clients before the Georgia and Nebraska Supreme Courts, as well as the United States Courts of Appeal for the Second, Fourth, Seventh, Eighth, and Eleventh Circuits. These cases have included complex business disputes and actions under Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Labor Management Relations Act, and other employment and business laws.

A regular speaker at continuing legal education seminars, Mr. Hunt also has helped the firm serve as general counsel to the Georgia Hospitality and Travel Association. Mr. Hunt's litigation practice has included work for Interstate Hotels, Radisson Hotels, Swiss Hotels, TGI Friday's, Rare Hospitality, Buena Vista Hospitality Group, Four Seasons Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Chubb Insurance, and Liberty Insurance Company.
