Margaret M. Stokes
Maggie Stokes is a native Californian who has been a member of the California Bar since 1984, and a member of the Georgia Bar since 1987. An Order of the Coif graduate of McGeorge School of Law, she is a former officer with the Fresno County Sheriff's Department.
Maggie has practiced labor and employment law for 20 years in several jurisdictions. She has been an advocate for clients in a variety of employment matters before administrative agencies and the courts, as well as labor and employment arbitrations.
Maggie specializes in strategic planning for litigation and handling of employment disputes; drafting employment handbooks, policies and procedures, and contracts; and collective bargaining agreements. With a background in criminology and journalism, Maggie combines investigation skills with the ability to communicate persuasively. With husband Arch, Maggie has co-authored articles for various hospitality industry publications.
