Peter B. Maretz
Mr. Maretz is an experienced trial attorney with particular expertise in the area of employment litigation. He has successfully defended employers in the restaurant, retail, and manufacturing industries on matters such as wrongful discharge, trade secrets protection, sexual harassment and wage & hour violations, including the defense of class actions, and he regularly appears before public agencies through the southwest. Mr. Maretz counsels clients on preventative practices, including performing labor and wage audits, and providing training in best employment practices.
Moreover, Mr. Maretz also has extensive experience representing clients in a broad range of real estate matters including lease drafting and negotiation, as well as litigation of real estate disputes. Finally, Mr. Maretz represents numerous clients in the construction industry, working with contractors in defect and lien claims, construction product manufacturers in product liability claims, and project owners in all aspects of the development process.
