Shirley Shu
Shirley Shu primarily practices in the areas of employment and general business litigation. She defends a number of businesses in suits involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour claims, and contractual disputes. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Shu defended businesses and public entities in complex, multi-party cases involving hazardous substances and groundwater contamination. She also litigated numerous matters involving California's Tort Claims Act.
Ms. Shu received her B.A. in English Literature from the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During law school, Ms. Shu served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Fred Woods in the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District, Division Seven.
In Ms. Shu's spare time she volunteers for her alma maters.
